Responsibilities
The Site Manager reports to the Area Manager and is part of the highly engaged Complete by Weeks Construction Team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to manage and oversee the construction of allocated builds from site start to settlement, with a strong focus on customer service, quality product, keeping within specified budgets and timely progress. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:
Manage allocated construction projects from start to completion, ensuring effective coordination of all on-site activities
Maintain regular communication with clients and stakeholders, ensuring updates are timely and documented
Oversee high quality construction delivery in line with contract terms and legislative requirements
Ensure site readiness, safety, and cleanliness at all stages of construction
Build strong relationships with trades, suppliers and internal teams providing support and feedback
Monitor and report site incidents, delays and complete safety audits
Achieve practical completion signoff by the client within two weeks of practical completion inspection
Participate in trade allocation meetings and ensure timely completion of sign offs
Adhere to compliance process and support onboarding of new contractors
Qualifications
A Building Trade Certificate or tertiary education in Construction Management
5 years' experience within the Residential Project Home Industry
A strong project management ability to coordinate multiple service providers and suppliers to complete homes expediently
Considerable knowledge of the basic methods, practices, tools, materials and work standards related to the building of residential homes
The ability to identify defects or problems proactively and take the necessary actions to rectify or prevent problems in an efficient manner
Outstanding leadership, communication, and planning abilities with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment
