Lead Strategic Innovation Architect
We are seeking an experienced innovation architect to provide strategic leadership and direction for our department's innovation portfolio.
The successful candidate will create and evolve architecture models that inform the design, development, and evolution of business processes and supporting ICT systems.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience in creating and evolving architecture models to inform business processes and ICT systems.
Experience leading innovation portfolios and driving adoption of emerging technologies and innovative practices.
Ability to facilitate stakeholder engagement across government, industry, and not-for-profit sectors to co-design, prototype, and pilot solutions.
Ability to provide high-level strategic advice to senior executive stakeholders on innovation opportunities, risks, and enablers.
Proven ability to foster a culture of innovation and build capability across departments and agencies.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
Provide strategic leadership of the department's innovation portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities and government objectives.
Integrate innovation methods, tools, and resources into departmental policy development processes.
Drive the adoption of innovative practices and emerging technologies to improve service delivery outcomes.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement across government, industry, and not-for-profit sectors to co-design, prototype, and pilot solutions.
Represent the department's innovation agenda at portfolio, APS-wide, and cross-sector governance forums.
Identify, assess, and scale effective innovation practices and outcomes.
Build capability and foster a culture of innovation across the department and portfolio agencies.
