The Retail Sales Assistant / Visual Merchandiser at M.J. Bale plays a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and driving sales through effective visual merchandising. This dynamic position requires a balance of customer service, product knowledge, and creative flair to enhance the overall retail environment.
**Key responsibilities include**:

- Assisting customers with their inquiries, providing product information, and offering personalized styling advice to create a memorable shopping experience.
- Maintaining the visual presentation standards of the store by implementing captivating displays that showcase the brand's products and reflect current trends.
- Contributing to inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular stocktakes, and ensuring accurate product availability on the shop floor.
- Collaborating with the store management team to achieve sales targets and contribute innovative ideas for promotions and events to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
- Participating in regular training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and visual merchandising best practices.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures while upholding a professional image at all times.

Skills and Experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong visual merchandising abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Knowledge of fashion trends and understanding of the retail industry
- Proficiency in using POS systems and other retail software
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced retail environment

- Prior experience in retail sales or visual merchandising roles is preferred
- Demonstrated success in meeting sales targets and KPIs
- Experience with inventory management and stock control processes
- Familiarity with creating visually appealing product displays that drive sales
