Job DescriptionAbout the role As the P&C Officer-WHS you will be responsible for undertaking administrative activities with a strong focus on providing support to the Work Health and Safety (WHS) team.
Key Responsibilities: Provide general assistance across the PC&P team, including WHS program coordination, injury management, safety audits and seamless support during peak workloads.
Maintain accurate WHS records, registers, and documentation in line with Council policies and legislation.Liaise with internal teams and external providers to ensure timely delivery of WHS services.
Coordinate WHS Committee meetings and support training, campaigns, and communications.Ensure data accuracy across HR and WHS systems, manage documentation workflows, process invoices, and contribute to policy development and procedural reviews.About You We are looking for someone with: Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety and/or experience in a comparable role.
2 years' experience in a similar role within Human Resources, WHS administration or support roles.
Previous experience using business database applications such as WHS or HR.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels whilst maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
High computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Office, with experience in managing online reporting portals and maintaining data accuracy.
Proven ability to manage time effectively while adapting to changing priorities and workload demands.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, using initiative and versatility to resolve support-related challenges.What's on offer Term Contract Opportunity until January 2026.
