Framer

Seeking expressions of interest for qualified framers. Experience managing a framing team will be highly regarded. Please send images of examples of work with your resume. As a lead framer you will be required to:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop
- Liaising with customers and/or the in-house framing concepts consultant for custom jobs
- Assist the in-house consultant and/or customers to understand the colours, design and layout of frames
- Assessing the value and physical condition of artwork to decide the level of framing required
- Maintenance on machinery and maintain the operating procedures are up to date
- Responsibility for workplace health and safety in the framing room
- Training of new team members
- Updating system records and documentation
- Looking for ways to improve their service and framing options
- Experience in the art and framing industry in a similar role
- Leadership skills
- Competent with digital workflow and inventory software
- Great Communication and customer service skills
- Highly motivated and creative
- Attention to detail
- A passion for the framing industry and continually growing your knowledge to better help their clients
