GHD **Tasmania's Digital Delivery **group is seeking an experienced **Documentation Lead - Roads and Highways **.

Working closely with and under direction of the Business Group Leader - Digital Delivery, the role will manage the day-to-day functioning of the Roads and Highways Documentation team. This includes building team capability around technical delivery and delivering design modelling and documentation for Roads and Highways projects.

This challenging role provides opportunities to assist in the management of team members throughout the employment lifecycle (Safety / Wellbeing, Recruitment, On boarding, Remuneration, Performance Planning and Review and Professional Development). You will also play a key role in accelerating the adoption of digital engineering approaches for road and highway design.

**Working within our established Roads and Highways team, you will have the opportunity to establish and build a successful career, and be involved in**:

- Leading the delivery of technical work for road and highway design projects.
- Identifying and accelerating the embedment of digital engineering and documentation approaches into design workflows.
- Supporting and coaching members of the team around technical delivery, performance and client service.
- Providing day-to-day supervision and coaching to the team in line with GHD's core values and strategy.
- Assisting the Business Group Leader to secure, schedule and manage workload.
- Client liaison and management, including contributing to business development activities as required.

**What would you bring to the team?**
- Relevant qualifications with previous experience or readiness to manage a medium sized team.
- Proven technical delivery experience in road and highway design, with a strong knowledge of and willingness to adopt emerging digital engineering design methods.
- Ability to coach, support and direct team members to ensure effective client outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build trust based, value adding relationships with people across all levels of business.
- An accountable, approachable, collaborative and supportive leadership style.
- Understanding and ability to promote and implement GHD's Quality and HSE frameworks.
