**WHAT IS THE ROLE?**
We're seeking a versatile team member to support our Toowoomba Allied Health Centre in a **casual role (1-2 days per week)** that combines **administrative support** and **Allied Health Assistant (AHA)** responsibilities. This unique split role will allow you to make a difference in both the operational and clinical sides of our centre.
You'll also work closely with and help support our **existing administration team**, ensuring the smooth operation of our services and fostering a collaborative, welcoming environment for clients and clinicians alike.
**Key responsibilities include**:
**Administrative Support**:
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the centre, including answering calls, booking appointments, and processing invoices.
- Supporting clinicians with diary management, client communications, and documentation.
- Assisting the existing administration team with daily tasks to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Maintaining a welcoming and professional environment for clients and visitors.
**Allied Health Assistant Duties**:
- Assisting clinicians (Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists) in delivering therapy programs.
- Supporting clients with exercises, activities, and equipment use as directed by allied health professionals.
- Preparing therapy resources and maintaining equipment.
- Documenting client progress and providing feedback to the clinical team.
**WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE**
**Qualifications & Experience**:
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role, ideally in a healthcare setting.
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or a related qualification (or willingness to complete).
- Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and client management systems.
- Experience working in a clinical or allied health environment is highly desirable.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
