**About the role**

With data quality at the pinnacle of our data function, this role will see you partnering with stakeholders to identify, triage, remediate and manage data quality issues and incidents. Leveraging data quality measurement and reporting solutions, you'll work to increase visibility and action over data quality issues. You'll include inputs into effective use of our enterprise governance repository as it relates to, and influences, data quality management.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the group data teams in implementing effective data quality issue management and monitoring capabilities, including Information IDQ.
- Ensure data quality rules are captured within the enterprise governance repository (Collibra)
- Identify, analyse and escalate Enterprise Data quality issues, facilitate the issue impact/root cause determination, and solution options.
- Ensure accurate, regular, MI is produced to give visibility to executive forums such as DGC and EIMC on enterprise data quality issues.
- Leverage and, where necessary, uplift the artefacts in place today to set clear "How to" guidance on consistent and data quality management practices for the future.
- Develop guidelines to help group data teams manage quality of their data in a standard and consistent approach

**About you**

With delivery at the forefront of this role, you'll be passionate about executing pieces of work seamlessly in the data quality space. Your past 5+ years of experience in Data Quality Management will help shape your success in this role, where you'll have the opportunity to make an impact and influence best practices. As a strong communicator, you'll quickly develop positive, long-lasting relationships with your stakeholders, and understand the importance of these relationships.

You'll have hands on experience defining data quality rules, business rules and data controls, and must have previously used Dataiku, SQL and PowerBI. In addition, having at least one of the below will be advantageous:

- Financial Services industry experience or exposure
- Experience with data governance and metadata management tools (Axon, Collibra, IGC)
- Experience with Informatica IDQ, Alteryx, or similar data quality solutions.
- Data visualisation tools (PowerBI, Tableau or similar)
- Exposure to, or experience in operational risk management
