This is your opportunity to secure a permanent, full-time position with competitive pay, consistent hours, and the chance to work with advanced automation and control systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.What's on Offer:$58.71 per hour + super (114K plus super annually)Guaranteed pay increases in March 2026 and March 2027Permanent full-time role - no shift rotation or RDOsDay shift only - enjoy work-life balance with early finishes on FridaysSecure long-term employment in a stable industryWork with modern automation and control systemsSupportive and safety-driven team environmentKey Responsibilities:Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems across machinery and building infrastructureAttend and respond to breakdowns, conducting fault diagnosis using PLC softwareMaintain and troubleshoot VSDs/VFDs and other automation componentsComplete scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance tasksInspect and maintain electrical distribution boards and low-voltage systemsCarry out project work, shutdown maintenance, and electrical upgrades as directedEnsure maintenance logs, breakdown records, and work orders are completed accurately and on timeConduct thermographic testing and monitor power factor correction systemsAdhere to safety procedures and participate in site risk assessmentsParticipate in on-call roster and assist other trades when requiredContribute to reliability improvements through root cause analysis and corrective actionsSkills and Experience Required:Current unrestricted Australian Electrical LicenceMinimum 3+ years of industrial electrical experience (domestic or commercial-only experience will not be considered)Strong knowledge and experience with PLCs, VSDs, automation, and roboticsForklift, boom lift, or EWP licence (desirable)Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skillsMechanical aptitude and ability to work across trades when neededStrong understanding of WHS and risk management in industrial environmentsGood communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyAbout the Opportunity This position is ideal for a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Electrician with a strong background in industrial environments.
