We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic **Piano Teacher** to teach our Piano Group Program.

Our Piano Group Program is designed specifically for our beginner students in a classroom with up to 4 students ages 6-12.

Training and on-going support will be provided to ensure the success of teaching this program.

**Qualities Needed**:

- A warm and approachable personality towards young children and parents
- Applicant should be responsible, well organised and punctual to lessons
- Able to multi-task and to work well under pressure
- Ability to collaborate with other teachers and staff members
- Have an open mind to exploring and adopting different teaching methods and pedagogy, to better themselves as a music educator

**Qualification Needed**:

- Tertiary qualifications in music or music qualification to an advanced level in your instrument (e.g Grade 8 AMEB or equivalent)
- Experience with the AMEB or ABRSM syllabus
- Holds a working with children's check
- Drivers license (desirable)
- ABN (Australian Business Number - if seeking subcontractor position)

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- To deliver high quality tuition to students ages 6 to 12 years at a beginner level
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, parents and other teachers
- A desire and passion to work with young children
- A minimum of 12 months commitment is required
