Responsibilities
Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
Serve food and beverages
Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
Prepare and serve specialty food at customers' tables
Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
Describe menu items including daily specials for customers; advise on menu selections
Balance cash and record sales
Clear and clean tables, trays and chairs
Provide customer service
Qualifications
No degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years
Serving It Right Certificate
Computer knowledge: Aloha POS; Point of Sale system
On-site work required
Education
No degree, certificate or diploma
Work Experience and Skills
Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages
Customer service oriented with efficient interpersonal and excellent oral communication skills
Flexible, initiative, organized, reliable and a team player
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
Bending, crouching, kneeling
Fast-paced environment; handling heavy loads
Physically demanding; standing for extended periods
Work under pressure

Compensation and Schedule
Salary: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour (To be negotiated)
Hours: 20 to 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Part time leading to full time

Starts as soon as possible
