**About the Hotel**:
We are Australia's only theme park hotel, located in Main Beach, our hotel boasts beautiful views of the Broadwater, and is just a few minutes' walk from the Spit.

**Our Restaurants**:

- The lobby bar is where our guests can get their morning coffee, grab some lunch and have an al a carte family dinner.
- Located poolside, the Waterfall Café is the hotspot for a drink or casual lunch and dinner by the pool.
- The Shoreline Restaurant is where our guests start their day with a diverse buffet breakfast. Shoreline is also a buffet dinner restaurant including fresh seafood and daily specials
- With views of the Broadwater, the Boat Shed Bar & Grill is a relaxed dinner spot after a big day out. This venue can also be booked for private events.
- Hatsuhana Japanese Restaurant is our award winning Teppanyaki restaurant that our guests go if they want an exciting and memorable experience.
- Melrose Pizzeria is our casual dine-in or take away pizza and pasta restaurant.
- We offer in-room dining service to our guests that prefer to stay in after their adventures at our Theme Parks.

**About the role**:
This part time role will provide exceptional service to Sea World Resort's guests in all areas of Food and Beverage including the buffet restaurant, lobby bar, poolside café, room service and functions/events.

**Duties**:

- Taking food and beverage orders and cash handling
- Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of menus and specials
- Maintain stock requirements to meet shift needs
- Set up and pack down of restaurant, bar and function rooms
- Responsible service of alcohol
- Follow food safety procedures and maintain the workplace in a clean and hygienic manner
- Demonstrate effective team work qualities and an understanding of legislated health and safety requirements

**Skills and Experience**:

- A current Queensland Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate is essential
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Previous cocktail bar, a la carte and function experience is desirable
