**About the role**

Based in Hemmant the Electronic Service Technician reports to the Service Supervisor and will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service for the service, repair, and calibration of Xylem Analytics products, such as a wide variety of water quality instruments, flow meters and monitoring equipment.

We are seeking a passionate, electronic technically savvy individual with the proven ability provide a high level of technical support to our customers.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Service and repair the range of Xylem Analytics instruments
- Train and support our customers in basic care and maintenance of Xylem Analytics equipment
- Assist with product support to our Sales Team
- Work off site from time to time completing on-site appraisals and maintenance
- Prepare quotes, warranty claims and technical reports
- Provide outstanding customer service

**Skills and experience required**
- Demonstrated experience in servicing and repairs of electronic equipment
- Experience in the inspection and replacement of electronic circuit boards and the ability to identify various electronic components
- Good general computer and MS Office suite skills
- Excellent organization skills and problem solving abilities with a customer focus in a small team environment
- A basic understanding of chemistry and/or environmental science
- Drive to succeed and 'Solve Water' for our customers
