What you might not know is that behind the scenes, we've built a global software company that's redefining how the self-storage industry runs.At R6, we have a number of our own SaaS products as well as a number of different custom-built projects and integrations for our clients.
In short, we have a lot of different things going on, so we're looking for somebody that's flexible both in solving problems and building and delivering new projects.This is under a newly created brand R6 Automate: we're looking for:At least 5 years of mid-to-senior level experienceAbility to diagnose and solve problems with existing complex systemsAbility to architect and build new projectsAbility to adapt to different software development stacks quicklyExperience providing advice to junior developers, including code reviewsA level of self-sufficiency and the ability to work independently if necessary or with other developers, depending on the needs of the projectUseful skills to have for this role:We don't require experience with any specific language, but as a reference, here's the sort of thing you'll be doing at R6:Working with PHP - primarily Laravel for our own products and internal projects, and sometimes WordPress integrations for client-specific workUsing Docker Swarm to deploy applicationsUsing Expo and React Native to build mobile appsUsing Git to manage source code and collaborate with the teamBuilding integrations between all sorts of different REST APIsWorking on internal tooling such as scripts and web services to make our own lives easierWhy R6 Digital?
