**The Role**
We are looking for experienced Support Services Workers (including cleaning, laundry and kitchen services) who are passionate about a person-centred approach, to join our facility in Harden, NSW.

**What you will do**
The Support Services Team play a pivotal role in delivering essential services at the highest quality and to tailored to the needs of each and every resident.
- Cleaning:_
- Maintaining legislated safety, quality and hygiene standards
- Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms and living areas
- Cleaning communal and dining areas
- Cleaning and sorting laundry
- Maintaining adequate supplies of toilet paper, soap and other cleaning and hygiene supplies for resident use
- Adhering to infection control principles, WHS requirements including the safe storage and use of chemicals and complete cleaning requirements according to facility schedules
- Completing required documentation and reporting
- Ad hoc support to the broader team as required
- Kitchen:_
- Preparation and presentation of dietary services, including meals and drinks
- Distribution of meals to residents, assisting the chef with meal preparation, cleaning and general kitchen duties
- Dining room services
- Providing excellent personalised service to our residents
- Ensure duties are performed in accordance with Infection Control and Food Safety Handling Standards
- Ensure a high standard and quality of cleanliness throughout the organisation
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment
- Completion of documentation
- Laundry:_
- Contribute to an effective laundry service that supports resident quality of life.
- Complete laundry tasks in accordance with procedures and directions
- Support infection control through strict adherence to clean/dirty flow with a high level of care to personal laundry
- Labelling of personal items
- Arrange for repairs of any personal clothing where required

**What you will bring**
- Experience gained in a similar role, preferably within an aged care setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes highly regarded but not essential
- Currently hold and maintain a NDIS Worker Check (or willing to obtain)
- Must have COVID19 vaccination or be willing to obtain
- Must be an Australian citizen or hold full rights to work within Australia
