We're looking for an experienced finance professional to fill the role of Finance Business Partner.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with business leaders to provide forward looking analysis/guidance and commercial insights.
With projects as a focus, you will be involved in project pricing, project terms negotiation, live project reviews, variation management and working capital performance, to improve the operational performance.
The role will provide commercially focused financial solutions and advice to the business.
There is flexibility in the GHD office location with preference for the role to be based in Newcastle.ResponsibilitiesProviding trusted financial advice to key stakeholders to align business direction, financial strategies.Conducting analytical reviews on project budgetsProviding support and financial management to projects within the business.Preparing and analysing various monthly management reportsAnalysing actual vs budget expense accounts on the Profit and Loss Statement.Tender Reviews on project pricing, assess profitability and risk.Assisting in addressing queries from various stakeholders.QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.Pursuing or completed CPA/CA qualification (or equivalent) is highly desirable.3+ years' experience in a finance partnering or similar roleAbility to operate under ambiguity and develop new ideas and business solutions.Ability to influence, manage and prioritise across diverse stakeholders.Experience in delivering commercial outcomes.Familiarity with ERP systems such as BST, financial transaction systems and data analytics tools such as Planning Analytics (TM1), PowerBi is highly desirableA high level of competency in MS Office applications.Experience in a project environment is highly desirableInterested?
