An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Property Team as an Area Facilities Manager, looking after the Central Coast & Hunter area on a 2 year max term contract.

As a valuable member of the team, you will be responsible to operate and maintain a large diverse portfolio of properties including commercial facilities, churches and residential properties.

As Facilities Manager your responsibilities will include:

- Responsibility to develop and manage property operations and maintenance budgets;
- Compliance to regulatory and Work Health and Safety standards;
- Overseeing / project managing minor capital works projects (typically under $200K);
- Contractor performance management;
- Reactive and routine maintenance, repairs and inspections of all buildings;
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders;
- Contract management.

Which will require;
- 5 years of facilities management experience in portfolios of 100+ properties preferable
- A strong understanding of Building Codes, Australian Standards, Essential Services, Statutory and WHS legislation
- A proven track record in customer and key stakeholder management
- Proficient IT skills, including facilities management software and the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience developing and managing maintenance schedules
- An engineering, building or trade qualification / background preferable

The ideal person will be a proactive, collaborative team member who adopts a hands-on approach. You will be comfortable with multi-tasking and problem solving and adopt a strong client focus.
