Michelangelo's Italian Restaurant, located in the beautiful Blaxland area of the Blue Mountains, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Floor Staff. We are a well-established Italian restaurant known for our authentic cuisine, warm hospitality, and cozy ambiance. Our restaurant is open for dinner only, from Tuesday to Saturday, providing a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and vibrant environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and seating guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages
- Provide knowledgeable and friendly assistance in guiding guests through the menu and making recommendations
- Ensure a clean, tidy, and inviting dining area by setting up tables, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting with clearing and resetting tables
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using our POS system
- Collaborate with other team members, including kitchen and bar staff, to ensure smooth service operations
- Attend to guest inquiries, comments, and feedback in a professional and courteous manner
- Follow restaurant policies and procedures, including food safety and hygiene regulations
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, even during busy or challenging situations

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work well in a team, as well as independently when required
- Attention to detail, with strong organizational and time management skills
- Availability to work evenings from Tuesday to Saturday, including weekends and public holidays
- Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification

Note: Applicants must have the right to work in Australia and be available to work evenings from Tuesday to Saturday, including weekends and public holidays. RSA certification is required for this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship, Internship
Part-time hours: 20-35 per week

**Salary**: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
