**Medical Receptionist - Full-Time**

**Location: Punchbowl, NSW**

**Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm**

**About the Role**

You'll report directly to the Practice Manager and be responsible for front desk operations, welcoming patients, managing appointments, and handling a range of administrative duties.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Greeting and assisting patients and medical reps
- Managing phone calls and appointment bookings
- Billing patients and processing Medicare, DVA, and WorkCover claims
- Collecting payments and reconciling accounts
- Supporting practice accreditation and promotional initiatives
- Managing patient flow and keeping the waiting area tidy
- General reception duties and ordering medical/office supplies

**About You**

We're looking for someone who has:

- **At least 1 year of experience** as a medical receptionist in a general practice
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- A friendly and professional attitude
- Punctuality and reliability
- Experience with **Best Practice** or similar medical software
- Knowledge of Medicare billing and general practice procedures
- A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- High School (Year 9-11) (preferred)

**Experience**:
