**The Position**:
This is a full time, 100% swine vet role (with the option of some poultry work if this interests you). No two days at Portec are alike and you will get to experience a diverse range of work from farm and abattoir visits to teaching and training. We service a mix of large corporate and smaller family operated pig and poultry farms and we provide support to our clients in the areas of animal health and farm biosecurity, management and production, quality assurance and animal welfare compliance.

**Who we are looking for**:

- Ideally, we are looking for an experienced vet (3+ years), however if you are a motivated and confident recent grad, we also welcome your interest.
- We are looking for a vet with swine consultancy experience or a mixed vet with production animal experience (population medicine) and a genuine interest in pursuing swine medicine.
- Someone with great communication skills

**Remuneration and Benefits**:
