About the role
The role of the Allied Health Workforce Administration Officer is responsible for providing high quality administrative support to the Allied Health Graduate Program, allied health graduate education staff and senior allied health staff to support the overall training and development of the allied health workforce within Mental Health and Specialised Services (MHSS).
About you
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of project support including high level administrative skills utilising contemporary office equipment and software packages. This includes the ability to plan, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads whilst working autonomously and to be flexible in a changing team work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to effectively interact with all levels of staff and from diverse backgrounds, members of the public and private sector using tact, diplomacy and discretion.
- Demonstrated high level ability to produce effective written work outputs in terms of both quality and quantity.
- Demonstrated organisation skills and ability to organise with a high level of independence and to act innovatively, resourcefully and meet deadlines and commitments and possess a logical proactive approach to achieve strategic goals.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in a working environment supporting quality human resource management practices including employment equity, anti-discrimination, occupational health and safety and ethical behaviour.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
