Your role as Community Engagement Advisor will have a positive impact in your local community and in turn, the organisation, through aligning activities to the branch business plan and building a pipeline of new prospects and opportunities.
In this dynamic and high-impact role, you'll make your mark by:
- Co-ordinating and administrate community grants and sponsorship programs (including reporting and evaluation of these programs)
- Immersing yourself within the local community. You'll have a mind for networking and collaborations and will work with the board and branch management team to seek out, nurture and organise community relationships, partnerships and events
- Telling our stories. Through various channels, you'll help spread the word and celebrate the work we do within the community
This is a permanent, part time position located in Blackburn South. The roster is 30 hours per fortnight, 2 days a week 8:45AM - 5:15PM
What you'll bring to the role
To succeed in this role, you'll be a proud brand ambassador. We'd love you to have:
- An understanding and established connection with the local community
- Strong customer service and customer experience ethos
- Ability to drive and maintain effective working relationships and networks
- Effective communication skills to share our Community Bank story
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- You will be responsible for creating and posting content and driving engagement through various social media platforms
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Project or event management experience (desirable, but not essential)
- Confidence with technology and experience in digital platforms and creative/editing tools
