**About Us**:
Redcliffe State High School has a proud history of serving the Redcliffe Peninsula and supporting the growth of our young people. The school was opened in 1958 and has seen many changes across the years. Our facilities continue to grow to support the needs of our students and to cater for our growth. We work closely with a range of community organisations to ensure that we provide tailored support for the diverse range of students within our school.
Our school staff are passionate about providing outstanding opportunities to engage students and strengthen their academic development at all levels. Our school is an accredited 'Professional Learning Community - PLC' and 'Level 4 - High Reliability School'. This is because of the focus we have on ensuring that every student is successful in their learning pathway.
**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Leading the school community to develop, articulate and commit to a shared educational vision focused on providing quality learning outcomes for all students.
- Upholding the principalship as a values based, ethical and moral activity.
- Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
- Set high standards for student and staff performance.
- Actively participate in life long learning and ongoing professional development.
- Form partnerships with parents, other government agencies, community groups, industry and business.
- Be futures oriented and strategic.
