Seeking an EXPERIENCED Barista for busy Gloria Jeans, Coopers Plains store.
Previous work for the Gloria Jeans brand would be highly beneficial

Key Responsibilities:

- Serving handcrafted and high-quality espresso beverages following Gloria Jeans Standards along with exceptional customer service
- Supervising junior staff
- Taking orders in store and by wireless headset via the drive thru.
- Handling cash at the register when taking orders and giving correct change.
- Managing the pastry cabinet and preparing food, abiding by the National Food & Safety Standards.
- Prioritising daily shift duties as set by Manager/Franchise Partner.

Essential Skills:

- Previous Barista experience is a must
- Proven customer service experience.
- Supervising experience
- Well groomed, neat presentation.
- A positive attitude able to take direction and constructive feedback.
- Experience in food handling and making sandwiches.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) with a focus on developing genuine relationships with your colleagues and our guests.
- Enthusiastic, motivated self starter.
- A desire to be a brand ambassador in all areas of Gloria Jeans Coffee's including our food and cold beverage menu items.
- Must be able to work morning and afternoon shifts and be available on some weekends if required (discuss with manager)
