And together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that transform the way the world pays.What You'll DoMonitor regulatory developments in legislative and policy environment and advise on its impact to AdyenRepresent the team on a variety of workstreams and drive the regulatory strategyOperationalise regulatory requirements in Australia and New Zealand for AdyenCollaborate and provide advice and support to internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters in Australia and New Zealand ranging from regulatory engagement, regulatory strategy and product launchesManage various routine and ad hoc regulatory requests and filings for both Australia and New ZealandAdvise on various matters with merchants, service providers, internal and external stakeholders, in line with Adyen's commercial and strategic objectives which allow for scaleWho You AreYou are qualified as a lawyer in AustraliaYou have strong written and oral communication and interpersonal skillsYou have strong research, statutory interpretation and organisation skillsYou demonstrate ability to conduct analysis of policy issuesYou have at least 3+ years experience in a regulatory or legal roleYou have some working knowledge of the payment industry, retail banking, acquiring and financeYou will be a critical thinker, strategic and have innovative problem-solving skillsYour strong sense of initiative, independence and ability to take ownership enabling you to contribute to a fast-growing businessIf you require supervision under your practising certificate, this can be accommodatedOur Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion commitmentsOur unobvious approach is a product of our diverse perspectives.
