**The Role**
As an experienced Finance Business Partner, you will drive business partnership and service delivery as a link between Finance and operational delivery of business strategy.

During a period of change and transformation, the Finance Business Partner will work with state General Managers and Site Managers to access and utilise credible business data to ensure effective and informed decision making.

As Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include:

- Act as a key stakeholder in financial decision making by working in conjunction with general managers and site managers
- Provide leadership to the accounting team to develop financial analysis capability, financial modelling, and scenario planning and business analysis.
- Preparation and supervision of capital works business modelling
- Analysis and support in preparation of yearly and quarterly acquittal requirements
- Provide strategic financial advice and financial management support.
- Complete financial analysis to support business decision making to ensure the highest financial value at an acceptable level of risk.
- Provide expert advice and guidance, to key stakeholders, on broader strategic and business planning processes through analysis of results, reports, comparisons and trend analysis to support sound decision making.
- Provide insight into profit and loss performance, budget variances, trend analysis, direct and indirect costs, overhead allocations and KPI reporting.
- Work with the Financial Controller, other Finance Business Partners and finance team to develop, communicate implement and manage policies and standards.

**Experience desired**
CA or CPA qualification

5 -7 years previous experience in financial management

Commercial business partnering experience.

Not-for-profit experience
**not essential** (Industry agnostic)

Knowledge of ERP financial systems & proficiency in BI tools

MS Excel - strong to advanced.

strategies
