Our Thorneside cafe overlooks Beth Boyd Park with views across Moreton Bay. Open 7 days 6am-4pm, we serve brunch, lunch, a sweet selection and moreand of course great coffee We pride ourselves on fresh seasonal dishes featuring locally sourced ingredients and excellent service for our local community.

**About the Role**

As a Front of House Team Member, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and memorable experience for our guests. You will be responsible for managing bookings, providing outstanding customer service, and contributing to a seamless dining experience. Your professionalism and ability to engage with customers will be key to our success.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage reservations and efficiently handle booking inquiries.
- Provide detailed information about the menu and assist with special requests.
- Ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming front of house environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service.
- Handle guest concerns and feedback with patience and a positive attitude.
- Maintain a high standard of presentation and service at all times.

**Skills and Attributes**:

- Proven experience in a Front of House role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Barista training or experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and staff.
- Mature demeanor with the ability to handle various situations professionally.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Positive attitude and a proactive approach to service.
- Weekend availability is required.
