**About Clinical Education**
The Clinical Education Program supports the Women's to achieve its strategic directions by providing frameworks for the professional development of health professionals. The Program supports the future nursing and midwifery workforce through coordination of pre-registration, graduate, Transition to Specialty Practice (TSP) and specialty post-graduate programs.
**About the role**
As the Clinical Educator you will be responsible for the development and delivery of a program of neonatal professional development for midwifery/nursing staff across the organisation (with a focus on NICU services), that promotes family-centred care.
Key responsibilities will see you:
- Work with the Grade 5 educator to deliver and support neonatal resuscitation competency, professional development frameworks for the NICU team, employed post-graduate NICU student and Early Career programs in NICU
- Role model exceptional clinical care in the NICU
- Develop and coach your learners, engaging with them to develop learning plans and assist with setting performance goals
- Provide support and advice to other departments outside NICU, and promote and deliver programs around bringing mothers and babies together

**About you**
You will be someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build collaborative working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
You'll bring with you:
- AHPRA registration as a Nurse and a post graduate qualification in NICU
- Recent clinical skills in the care of neonates in the NICU environment
- Previous experience in an education role in NICU (min Grade 3B level) and the ability to develop learners and learning programs
- A passion for collaborative practice between NICU and postnatal environments
- Confidence in public speaking and group facilitation with well-developed presentation skills
