**About the role**:
An exciting part-time opportunity has been created for an enthusiastic, highly organised Marketing Officer to join our team. The Marketing Officer will play an integral role in the operational support of the marketing function and the coordination of marketing initiatives to deliver on business objectives.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role will be ideally suited to a marketing graduate with 1-2 years' experience in a similar role. The Marketing Officer will also work closely with colleagues and stakeholders across the business.

This is a part-time role (3 days per week) in a hybrid working environment.

**Key responsibilities**
- Contribute to the delivery of high impact communications to a highly targeted B2B audience, including stakeholder newsletters via eDM, professionally produced Word and PowerPoint documents and reports, business proposals and other collateral
- Create content and maintain a strong social media presence on relevant platforms, in particular LinkedIn
- Maintain and update content on the company website, and employee and client intranets
- Capture feedback from key audiences from time to time
- Provide administrative and operational support to the marketing function of IFS
- Ensure currency and efficient management of all files, records and creative resources of the marketing team
- Use of the IFS CRM to update contact details and extract data for stakeholder communications
- Ensure that all communications and marketing materials align with brand standards
- Assist in gathering and distilling market and industry information relevant to our business
- Tracking and reporting success of marketing initiatives

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Degree qualified in Marketing or Communications
- 1-2 years in a similar role providing marketing and administrative assistance to a team
- Experience in Content Management Systems such as WordPress
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Word and PowerPoint
- Previous experience using platforms such as Mail Chimp and Survey Monkey
- Expertise in social media best practice
- Capabilities with Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, and Illustrator will be highly regarded but not essential
- Past experience in financial services will be highly regarded
