**Cape Byron Distillery** has an exciting opportunity within our logistics department. We are on the lookout for a Full-Time Logistics Assistant to join our team based at our rainforest property in the hinterland of Byron Bay.

At Cape Byron Distillery, we are creating a new chapter in the book of Australian Distilleries. We produce spirits (Brookie's Byron Gin 8 Cape Byron Single Malt Whisky) that are a true exploration & showcase of native flavours unique to the Northern Rivers Region (Byron Bay Hinterland), with many sourced from the heart of our rainforest.

As the Logistics Assistant you will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of our logistics department. Your influence will help ensure that all daily tasks are handled smoothly & on-time allowing us to continually provide a high-level customer service experience that exceeds our customers' expectations.

**What will you be doing?**
- Picking, packing & dispatching of all outgoing orders
- Receiving & put-away of all inwards goods, inc. internal production jobs
- Loading & unloading trucks
- Some computer-based work where required
- Assisting with stock management
- Assisting with daily, weekly & monthly stock takes
- Assisting customers to ensure a high-level of customer service
- Controlling stock & consumable levels for pick pack area
- Ensuring the warehouse is always clean & organised
- Assisting Logistics Manager where required

**What you will bring to the table?**
- Proven experience in a similar logistics assistant role
- Be ready to get hands-on with urgency in the warehouse to get the job done
- Be self-motivated
- Have an eye for detail
- Ability to work as part of a dedicated team
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to learn & improve processes
- Great communication skills
- A good level of computer literacy
- A forklift license (Preferred or be willing to obtain)

This is a full-time position based in the stunning hinterland of Byron Bay surrounded by rainforest, where you can make a difference
