We are seeking new team members to join us as a Support Worker to travel between customer's homes and assist them with daily living and lifestyle requirements by providing person-centred care and support.What we offer:Above award rates from $34 – $75 per hour (depending on time of day)Paid Travel between visitsPaid orientation training (including access to online learning)Access to our Employee Assistance Program for you and your partner when you need extra level of supportInclusive, engaging team environmentAbility to work independently and close to where you liveRecognition programs, activities and eventsOngoing support and advice from experienced, friendly, local office staffEmployee Referral Program to refer your friends and family members to join us and receive $400 per successful referral (Conditions apply)Schedule:Weekly 20 to 25 hours in Eastern Suburbs area What you need:Have a reliable car with comprehensive insuranceAustralian drivers license Live in Eastern Suburbs or inner west areas Valid CPR / First Aid CertificateProof of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificateWorking with children's check (WWCC)NDIS workers screening checkExperience with Hoist, Bowel Care, PEG feeding.Client prefers femaleSmartphone with internet accessMinimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support or Disability ServiceLive in or close to our service regions'Can do' attitudeWhat you will do in your role:Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming and medication assistanceDomestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparationSocial support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointmentsSupporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment including: standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual or electric hoists, sliding sheets or moving boards, hearing aids and other physical aidsSupporting customers with complex and/or challenging needsMonitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progressParticipating in staff meetings and paid training as requiredPlease note we often receive short services and frequent emergency bookings that we require our staff to cover around their regular, on-going and longer services.
