Responsibilities
Proactively identify & coordinate preventative maintenance across the site
Be responsible for completion of planned maintenance tasks to ensure breakdowns are prioritised to meet production needs
Provide technical support & training to machine operators for basic troubleshooting
Provide detailed accounts of all work performed and logged in our CMMS (Mex)
Support continuous improvement/project implementation
Investigate plant or equipment deficiencies that lead to out-of-spec finished goods
Assist with ensuring BRC, and other customer standards are met
Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess The Following
Ability to work effectively as part of a team to achieve common goals
A proactive and enthusiastic attitude coupled with a great work ethic
Mechanical Fitter Trade or equivalent
Sound knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatic systems
Repair, change and improve machinery while ensuring principles of HACCP & GMP are not compromised
Strong fault finding and RCA skills with a proven focus on right first time
Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and interpret machinery manuals
Effective communication skills in speaking with cross functional teams and writing work order reports
Knowledge of basic electrical systems and components is an advantage
Welding, turning, sheet metal fabrication qualifications and skills are highly regarded
Ability to work either day or afternoon shift - 76 hours per fortnight, on a rotating roster
Ideally have automation experience, although not essential
