We are seeking to appoint casual
Educators
(Children's Services Employees) to join the team at
St Mary's OSHC
based in
Ipswich
.
St Mary's OSHC provides education and care for up to 120 children. We believe each child is unique and learns differently. Our educators spend time getting to know each child and their family to create engaging learning experiences that capture their interest and help them develop new skills.
We offer a flexible, child-initiated program where educators incorporate children's ideas, cultures, and interests into daily planning.
Hours:
Casual - BSC, ASC, and Vacation Care
Qualifications:
Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards) or ACECQA equivalent would be desirable
A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator
Providing nurturing care for children

Job Requirements
Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards) or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines would be desirable but not essential
A passion for the education and care of school-aged children in a play-based environment
Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place or Early Years Learning Framework, and National Law/Regulations or ability to acquire
Effective oral and written communication skills
