They are currently seeking experienced **_Permanent Maintenance Fitter for Day Shift_** based in the South West of Melbourne.
- **Day Shift hours are 7am - 3pm Monday to Friday, 4 weeks annual leave + OT as required and working autonomously.**:

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for effectively troubleshooting and correcting mechanical, electrical and control issues to ensure that machinery, plant and equipment are safe and working efficiently.

**Key responsibilities**:

- **Preventative and corrective maintenance on automated systems which include working in both electrical and mechanical areas.**:

- **Analyzing information and use of root cause and prevention techniques to solve breakdowns and problems**:

- **Electrical (limited) and mechanical fault finding with troubleshooting on automated systems.**:

- **Working towards increasing equipment reliability by continuously improving and initiating process and support and minimizing equipment downtime**

**To be successful**:

- Previous experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or processing environment
- Knowledge within the glass industry is advantageous
- Mechanical or Electrical trade qualified ( Dual trades highly regarded)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self sufficient with a positive attitude
- Are a team player and highly motivated
