**Role Description/Criteria**

The Interculturalism Leader requires an understanding of the holistic development of a student - spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical and social. The person is a member of the Learning Team at the College.

The Interculturalism Leader is primarily responsible through the Deputy Principal - Learning & Teaching, to the Principal for the overall leadership and administration of initiatives regarding global citizenship and interculturalism and building community partnerships.

The Interculturalism Leader requires a passion for the learning and wellbeing of students and staff. This is not only manifest in the degree of knowledge they possess, but also in the way they can inspire staff as co-learners. A key responsibility is to build the capacity of staff to influence student learning and wellbeing and global citizenship. The person will be outward looking and requires an understanding of contemporary issues that young men experience and finding ways to support their holistic development.

This appointment is for an initial duration of 2 years.
