Good $$ Protech are currently recruiting for self-motivated, safety conscious reliable Refinery Operators/Labourers for works within the Townsville Region.
You will have the ability to commence at short notice and work rotating night/day 12.25 hour shifts.
*There are ongoing permanent opportunities for the right candidates.
Key Duties: Safely and effectively operate fixed plant and mobile equipment (Gantry Crane and Forklift)
Ability to work as a part of a team
Previous experience working in a refinery (highly regarded) or a similar heavy industrial environment
Perform assigned tasks in a safe competent manner
Ability to work various shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays
2 Days on, 2 Nights on, 4 Days off
Random Drug Testing from first day and throughout Skills and Attributes: General labouring and manual handling experience
HRWL – Forklift/Gantry Crane with experience operating (highly desirable)
Can do attitude with high levels of motivation to meet production targets
Ability to work in fast paced environment and work to deadlines
Physically capable for manual duties as well as operating if/when opportunity presents
Actively participate in any site training, handovers and housekeeping when required
Strong WH&S knowledge and safety first culture
Confidence to work as a part of a tram or unsupervised
Ability to identify and troubleshoot any safety issues that may arise
Carry out all pre-starts, safety checks and maintenance on plant equipment
Must be Clean Shaven for work each day The successful applicants will undergo a Pre-Employment Medical, Blood Lead Level test and Drug & Alcohol testing.Excellent pay rates and long term opportunity for permanent town based work.
