**About the role**:
The primary purpose of this position is to undertake upkeep and repair tasks for both the interior and exterior of the buildings on our precinct.

Duties could include:

- Undertake aspects of the carpentry trade, including reactive and planned maintenance
- Provide efficient and effective customer service
- General repairs and maintenance throughout a broad range of areas within the buildings (painting, tiling, plastering, minor plumbing, concreting, fencing)
- Perform maintenance and light repairs
- Get quotes, schedule and assist tradespeople with required jobs
- Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks
- Identify and report the need for major repairs
- Ensuring safety compliance

**About you**

You will be an experienced, well presented Handyman who holds their work quality to a high standard and takes pride in a job well done. This role best suits someone who enjoys working as part of a team, is able to multi task, problem solve and has strong attention to accuracy and detail.

**What do you need to be considered?**
- Construction Induction Card (White Card)
- Working at Heights and Elevated Work Platform desirable
- Trade Certificate in Carpentry is desirable
- Strong, effective communication skills (written & verbal)
- Exceptional organisational, communication, time management and customer service skills
- Have a good understanding of building maintenance
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a resort, commercial maintenance, remedial and construction preferred
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment
- A current "C" class drivers licence
- Motivation, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude
- Must be willing to undertake a pre-work medical & police check If successful
- Possess the physical ability to undertake the requirements of the role, including bending, lifting and carrying
