Production Coordinator

Residential Production Coordinator position on a 5:2:4:3 roster in the South East or Western Australia

**Your new role**

As a Production Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and directing the day-to-day safety and production objectives of your assigned area. Working closely with Shift Supervisors and Shift Production Coordinators, you will develop and execute tactical-level production plans, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Responsibilities and duties in your role as Production Coordinator will include, but not limited to;
- Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines
- Develop and maintain the tactical operating plan for the relevant plant area
- Mentor and develop the skills, knowledge, and experience of Supervisors and Employees
- Execute the tactical operating plan in coordination with the Shift Coordinator
- Act as the Superintendent when required
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering team to ensure effective area maintenance
- Work closely with the Technical team to maintain process chemistry and parameters at target levels
- Ensure safe access to plant and equipment through the permit/isolation systems, while continuously improving the system's timeliness and safety
- Assist in the development and control of area operating budgets, actively seeking cost reduction and optimisation opportunities
- Lead by example and foster positive working relationships with other process plant areas
- Perform any other duties reasonably requested by your Manager

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous leadership experience in a processing environment
- Intermediate Boiler and Turbine license
- Tertiary Engineering qualifications (Chemical/Process Engineering, Metallurgy)
- Experience in operating complex processes and implementing process control improvements
- Strong understanding of complex water treatment systems, process improvement, and control strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and accurate operational performance reports
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to pass a strict pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screen
- Ability to provide references covering the past 12 months of employment
