**A great opportunity now exists for an experienced Press Machine Operator to join us working rotating shifts, day, afternoon and night shift.**

**About the Role**:This position is responsible for operating Capral Aluminium's Hydraulic Extrusion Press and associated equipment, ensuring safety, quality and productivity standards are achieved.** **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Operate Extrusion Press and perform tasks in line with site Work Instructions / Safe Operating Procedures
- Ensure product quality and productivity standards are maintained to achieve customer delivery targets
- Participate in training to become a multi-skilled team member
- Take full accountability for personal safety and well-being, develop an understanding of risk minimisation and be committed to achieving the highest possible standards for Safety, Health and the Environment (SH&E)
- Work constructively with colleagues to build a supportive, positive culture with continuous improvement

**ESSENTIAL**
- Understanding of safety principles
- Maintain a high level of activity across all shifts
- Demonstrated experience in working in a team environment
- Understanding of quality principles
- Computer literacy

**DESIRABLE**
- 2 years previous experience with automated machinery
- Ability to identify and help resolve problems
- Forklift licence
