POSITION PROFILE
We are seeking Expressions of Interest for a motivated Medical Administration Registrar to join our team at Albany Health Campus in the Great Southern region of Western Australia.
The service is in an exciting period of growth and enhancement of specialist services with government commitment to significant expansion of physical capacity.
The Medical Administration Registrar will work with the experienced Director of Medical Services to provide professional leadership as well as guidance in relation to strategic and operational projects with a particular focus on clinical governance, accreditation, junior medical staff, service development, and general medical administration duties.
The Medical Administration Registrar will be engaged in or progressing towards a supervised training program in medical administration as a Trainee with the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA).
As a participant in the RACMA training program, you will be supported in developing the skills needed to become a specialist healthcare medical administrator.

To be Successful in this Role
Hold General AHPRA Registration.
Be at least PGY4 level with a minimum of six months experience in Medical Administration.
Preferably have experience within Australia or a comparable health system.

Essential Criteria
Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
At least PGY4 with six months of medical administration experience.
Current enrolment or willingness to enrol in the RACMA specialist training program.

Self-motivation and commitment to continuing medical education.
Understanding of culturally appropriate care.
Desirable Criteria
