**About the role**

This role is responsible for ensuring Hassell's Building Information Modelling (BIM) capabilities through leadership, training, process and technology implementation.

The role of BIM Manager acts as an intermediary, coordinating designers, clients, architects and engineers, whilst overseeing the production of detailed, technical, design documentation, components and materials for construction projects.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Melbourne team working on a number of projects in commercial and public sector architecture (health/education) and infrastructure.

**About you**

We'd expect you would bring to this role:

- Proven Revit experience on large and small projects, driving BIM deliverables for the project team and client.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting technical, architectural plans and drawing packages, and ability to provide advice on achieving construction and production outcomes.
- Ability to set up project BIM requirements including; project structure, definition of BIM deliverables, data exchange formats and effective workflows within Hassell existing protocols.
- Ability to review and audit the project's coordinated BIM Models to ensure Hassell standards, regulations, specifications, and processes are being met and maintained to contractual obligations.
- Demonstrated capacity to assist project teams in BIM management and coordination with clients, engineers and consultants.
- Experience in other BIM design and delivery tools (e.g.Navisworks, Revitzo, dRofus, BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex,).
- Ability to deliver on the job mentoring of Hassell Best Practice and identify skill gaps, with a goal of continuous improvement for all project staff
- Capabilities in implementing relevant new technologies and processes where agreed as part of company standards
