Excellent Plant Operator role available with an employer of choice on the Sunshine Coast.

**Your new role**

Provide high level maintenance, construction and asset management services for all road and related infrastructure assets (pavements, bridges, drainage, pathways and street furniture). Continuous performance improvement through leadership and employee engagement is a critical focus of the group.

**Duties may include**:
Operate all fixed and mobile plants, and equipment as required:

- Asphalt Plant
- Crushing Plant
- Blending Plant (Pugmill)
- Articulated Dump Truck up exceeding 42.5t GCM capacity
- Excavator over 0.5 cubic meter capacity with attachments including quick hitch, rock grab, hydraulic rock hammer, single point ripper
- Front end loader or overhead loader over 2.25 cubic meter capacity.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Proven operations experience in the mining or construction industry.
- Qualified certificate of competencies and/or licence to operate all required equipment, with a high degree of mechanical ability. Welding and oxy ability would be an advantage.
- 30215 Queensland General Safety Induction (Construction Industry).
- Driver's Licence - "HR" class.
- Physical ability to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting and bending.
- Meet the requirements of Part 9 of the Mining and Quarrying Safety and Health Regulation 2001
- Physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting and bending
- Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.
- You must comply with any applicable current or future Qld Government Public Health directive for vaccination requirements.
