**ABOUT THE ROLE**

We are looking for a creative, trendy and organised individual to join our Ceres team as a Buyer. This is a great opportunity to join a growing brand. You will have direct exposure with working alongside the leadership team. You will be responsible for leading the category and working with our Trend team to deliver on big ideas and key lifestyle items that align with our brand DNA and which our customers love. If you are someone who is customer obsessed, is passionate about leading and developing people and loves developing and buying amazing products that make a difference, then this could be your new role

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE**
- Tertiary qualification / degree in relevant field i.e. Buying
- Proven experience working within a similar Buyer/Category Buyer role
- Demonstrated experience working with production, trends and buying teams to achieve strategy visions
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to coach and lead a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidence
- Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
- Ability to make confident decisions that will determine the success of the brand
- Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
