Hc/Mc Driver

We are seeking an experienced HC or MC driver for a 4 month contract based at our Lytton depot. We actively pursue diversity in our recruitment and encourage applicants from all genders and backgrounds to apply.

This is our busiest time of year and we have ramped up much much busier than anticipated. This is a minimum 4-month contract with a view to extension and/or permanency.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys variety, knows their way around Brisbane, the Sunshine & Gold Coasts

We operate primarily in the SE corner of Queensland but every day can be slightly different. We treat you like an adult and let you get on with it. See the info below and if it sounds like something that interests you then get in touch

To be considered for this role here's what you're offering us:

- **Experience as a HC driver; MC would be advantageous but not necessary
**Solid geographical knowledge of Brisbane, Gold & Sunny Coasts

**Current MSIC would be GREAT
**A clean driving record
**Road ranger gearbox experience - if you only have an auto licence do not apply
**Ability to cope with change - not everything goes as planned - weather/customers/illness - many things occur outside our control, work with the change

**Accountability when you make a mistake - don't blame others or pass the buck - accept it
**Able to accurately complete paperwork and Daily Start of Day checks. Be aware of maintenance issues

**Daily variety - no 2 days alike - our days are constant

**You can be based from our Lytton OR our Rocklea depot depending on where you live and what works for you. We are flexible in our approach

**Flexible shifts available. We are almost 24/7 so can work around family/carer commitments, study and other issues - if you prefer afternoon or nightshift just say so - we can make that work

**Majority of our work is SE Queensland so no long distance. We do have customers further afield but this would be your choice - no one gets forced to do things they don't want to do

**Everyone makes a contribution - we don't know it all - if you know a better way then tell us we want to hear it

**Safe work practices - trucks & trailers that are serviced regularly by a fully qualified mechanic on staff, tyres that are changed regularly to ensure driver safety at all times. NO corner cutting on maintenance or safety.

**Driving either a Kenworth or a Western Star - manual; air-conditioned; excellent stereos. If you can only drive an automatic then this is role is NOT for you

**Option to be trained on sidelifters and container forklift if interested
