**About Us**: We have 2 dynamic café services operating at the Victoria University campus in City Tower, Melbourne, VIC. Our mission is to provide fresh, high-quality meals and beverages to our diverse clientele. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and the ability to create the perfect cup of coffee every time.

**Position Overview**: We are seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our team as Café Staff. This role involves working across both locations, so flexibility and the ability to work between both sites is essential. If you have a love for coffee and a background in food service, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and other beverages to customers.
- Operate the coffee machine and ensure every cup meets our quality standards.
- Prepare and serve food items in line with our menu offerings.
- Handle transactions efficiently using the cash register.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café/canteen areas.
- Restock supplies and manage inventory, particularly coffee-related items.
- Deliver excellent customer service with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in making coffee and operating a coffee machine.
- Previous experience in a café, canteen, or similar environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to engage with customers effectively.
- Ability to work flexibly across multiple locations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Weekend availability.
- A positive attitude and a passion for coffee and food.

Pay: $31.23 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 30 per week
