OverviewPHE Mining is seeking a highly motivated, experienced boilermaker to join our team on a fixed term project contract basis.
This role will be based in central west New South Wales on a 2 & 1 roster, 12-hour days.PHE is an Industrial Electrical Contractor that undertakes large scale projects in regional and remote areas nationally.
The role involves working closely with our electrical construction teams to fabricate and assemble structural solutions for the electrical and instrumentation installation of an underground hard rock mine.If you strive to be an integral part of a team that contributes to building some of the nation's most important projects, then this is the perfect role for you.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with electrical construction teams to fabricate and assemble structural solutions for electrical and instrumentation installations.Interpret engineering drawings and develop simple mark ups.Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality in a mining/heavy industrial environment.About YouTo be successful you will have the following skills and experience:Australian recognised trade qualification – Boilermaker (fabrication)Excellent attitude to safety5 years' experience working in a mining/heavy industrial environmentAbility to interpret engineering drawings and develop simple mark upsHold a current C Class Australian driver's licenseCurrent Working at Heights certificateEWP (Over 11 metres)White construction cardPrevious experience working in/with electrical teams will be an advantage but not essentialMust be able to pass all pre-employment checksAbout UsPHE has 50 years' history providing safe, rewarding, long-term employment in regional and remote areas.
