OverviewClient in the Retail Banking sector, based in Sydney and Melbourne, has commenced a cost optimisation program, initially focusing on Procurement.RoleThe Analyst will be working with a Partner, and two other Analysts on confirming initial opportunities in procurement and sizing the most material opportunities.
This will then progress to defining, scoping and completing a detailed workplan and steps required for 2-3 major initiatives that the Analyst will be accountable for delivering.Successful candidates will have the following experienceExperience with a Big 4 consulting firm or equivalent industry experienceA detailed understanding of the Retail Banking sector in AustraliaExperience in procurement in major organisationsThe ability to analyse procurement arrangements and negotiate with 3rd parties to optimise the client\'s cost positionStrong spoken and written communication skills (particularly PowerPoint)The ability to synthesise complex and disparate information into insights and recommended actionsThe analyst will be responsible forConfirming and sizing cost opportunities in the procurement areaDeveloping detailed definition, scope and implementation plans for a number of those opportunitiesWorking with the client to deliver the cost savings identifiedLogistics, Location & RateLogistics: Immediate startLocation: SydneyRates: Gross daily rate is $1,500Close date: No later than Thursday 15th October, 5pm AEDT
