We are looking for an Operations Manager with a proven ability to think big and lead long term strategic initiatives to innovate our global operation. This position is a multi-faceted role requiring the ability to balance strategy and execution. This role requires working with globally distributed teams to open new regions and resolve some of the biggest operational problems the organization faces. This role is also responsible for developing /communicating /executing project plans to drive resolution. Cross-team coordination, project management, executive presentation skills, and proven track record of delivering results are essential.

Key job responsibilities
Managing cross-functional project teams, planning, organizing, and executing complex projects across multiple organizations (Operations, Business Development, Finance, etc.) and stakeholders

Manages Australia daily operations and growth.

Help support new initiatives and projects to scale-ready state

Building strong partnerships with product and tech leaders to influence the development of features that resolve operational inefficiencies, improve scaling velocity and improve the operator/external partner experience.

Lead initiatives to optimize for scale, schedule and cost for Australia

Prepare and deliver data-driven operational business reviews to senior management

Own the operational budget for each functional area, including productivity, labor planning, CapEx and OpEx

Responsible for providing strategic level/long-term planning (3, 6, and 12 months out) including labor planning, forecasting, and peak season planning

Effectively leverages the operations managers to solicit ideas and understand problems and challenges. Works on strategic projects that have total building and network-wide impact.

Establishes objectives and metrics for quality, productivity, and partner experience
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Math, Business, or Supply Chain
- Experience building and maintaining CRMs and project management tools
- Experience with supply chain and distribution.
- Experience setting, managing and improving capital budgets
- Strong analytical orientation; comfort using databases and analytical tools and making data-based decisions
- Strong problem-solving skills; ability to analyze issues and create appropriate tactical plans
- Meticulous attention to detail: ability to juggle many tasks in parallel without lowering your quality bar
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization
- Demonstrated ability to champion and drive cross-functionally improvement initiatives
- Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness working across multiple business units to achieve results
- Highly technical and analytical, and also capable of understanding the complexities of software, supply chain, and physical fleet management processes
