Fortescue's Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.Roster: Monday - FridayJoin Fortescue as a Server/Storage Infrastructure Specialist, where you'll design, manage, and optimise enterprise-level server, storage, and virtual environments that keep our operations running smoothly and securely.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, maintain, and secure Windows/Linux servers.Manage AD, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and system resilience.Deploy and support virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix) and cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Ensure data protection, backups, and disaster recovery readiness.Monitor, troubleshoot, and provide L3 technical support.Implement security best practices for servers and storage.Implement and maintain enterprise storage solutions.Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, iSCSI, Fibre Channel).
Utilize monitoring tools to proactively detect issues (e.g., SolarWinds, Aria).
Qualifications and Experience5+ years' experience in server/storage roles.Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, virtualization, and enterprise storage (e.g. NetApp, Pure).
Experience with cloud, backups, and DR solutions.Relevant certifications (MCSE, VCP, RHCSA) highly regarded.Great communicator, problem-solver, and team player.Why Fortescue?
