The Role

The Investment Risk Manager will be the Risk and Compliance Champion of the Investments Team, working in collaboration with other Line 1 Risk and Compliance Champions and Line 2 Risk and Compliance, to implement and monitor a fit-for-purpose Risk Management and Compliance Framework for NGS Super. This will also involve critically assessing current Investment Team processes and how they need to be adapted to support the business strategy.

**Key focus areas include**:

- Lead the implementation of the NGS Super new governance risk and compliance governance (GRC) system for the Investments Team and any required improvements as identified as part of the Risk Transformation program.
- Facilitate the management of each Investment business unit risk profile within NGS Super GRC system. This includes risks and controls identification and assessment and closing any identified remediation actions.
- Planning and coordinating ongoing activities to uplift risk management and compliance across the Investments Team.
- Co-ordinate the implementation of new regulatory changes such as CPS 230 and FAR regime as related to the Investments Team.
- Support line 1 in conducting risk and compliance assessment relating to Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management as related to the Investments Team.

You have
- Experience in key risk and investment governance processes, such as due diligence reviews, policy reviews, conducting control testing and other strategic/regulatory reviews.
- Experience with risk assessments covering operational business risk, third-party/supplier risk.
- Experience working in Australian regulatory practices and building and maintaining frameworks to support regulated financial services products.
- Experience in managing risk in complex environments, including developing controls, performing assurance reviews, assessing risks and controls, incident and issue management and monitoring adherence to obligations.
- A solid understanding of regulatory guidance, including SPS 530, CPS 230.
